This is a site that I started some years ago to post Material I used at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Most of the material on it was information for my students, but information for students has migrated to course management systems. |

On this site I include papers I have written over the years, mostly on educational issues but a few on other things. I also include links to commentary I have written for a number of publications. More recently, I have started adding working papers. These are issues I am exploring but haven't come to a conclusion. I welcome comments on them.
I have also been running a web site for bicycle routes crossing Wisconsin. This site also has a blog where I make occassional comments and encourage others to comment in turn. For the past few years I have been researching bicycles maps for Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin for a publisher named Bikeverywhere and making occassional contributions to its blog. I cofounded a site call Third Education Group to publish reports on education research without subjecting them to an ideological screen. Lately it has been quiet but would welcome submissions to its peer-reviewed on-line journal, TEG Review. It also includes a blog.
