ADVOCATES FOR STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN

The next school board election will take place during the spring of 2009. Four of the nine seats will be filled in this election. Milwaukee has eight district seats and one seat that represents the whole city.

The four districts holding elections will be:

• District 4 on Milwaukee's north side. The incumbent is Charlene Hardin.
• District 5 covering the East Side and Near South Side. The incumbent is Jennifer Morales.
• District 6 on the West Side. The incumbent is Peter Blewett.
• District 7 on the Southwest Side. The incumbent is Danny Goldberg.
